We organize 2 language courses with duration of 2 weeks (dates on request).
The lessons will be held from Monday till Friday from 10.00 till 13.00 o‘clock.
The teacher is Mrs. Dr. Liliana Innocenti, graduated and teacher of italian language and literature and history.

Programma Concise course of Italian
After having made acquaintance with each other, the coursists are tested on their individual level of Italian.
Thus we can work out personal programmmes.
The daily curriculum is as follows:
1-Grammar. Phonetics (pronunciation), Morphology (nouns, articles, adjectives, verbs, syntaxis, perfect tense, past tense, future tense)
2- Vocabulary.
Reading, looking up words of every- day use .
3- Fluency.
Talking e.g. about a book, about personal experiences, articles from newspapers or about television programmes.
4- Geography.
We will follow the route you took to get at "Il Granaio".
We will say something about Tuscany, the Maremma, the Thyrrenian Sea, the coastal region, the hills,
the rivers, the cities,
villages, the climate, the islands of the Tuscan archipellago.
5- History.
Etruscan and Roman dwelling places.
Impoldering of coastal areas.
The vanished Lake of Prilis.
Ancient families, like the Aldobrandeschies in Siena,
the Medici in Florence,
the Grand Duchy of Lorena,
the urbanisation and repopulation in the south,
the provinces of Prato, Pistoia, and Florence in the 18th century.
Rebuilding and reconstruction after the 2nd World War.
6- Optional.
Visit to the villages of Roselle and Vetulonia, the museum of Grosseto-about which we will learn more.
Excursion to the wine-route of "Brunello del Montalcino", via the villages of Paganico, Sant' Angelo, Montalcino,
Montepulciano and Pienza.
